When I was a new member of Alpha Phi, I noticed that many of us did not fully understand the roles of each executive position or what was expected of us in relation to them. Because of this, it was often unclear how we could best support their work or contribute to the chapter in meaningful ways. As Vice President of Marketing, I introduced an initiative where each executive member attends a new member meeting to introduce themselves and explain their responsibilities. The following presentation was designed to clearly communicate my role in a way that is simple, engaging, and easy for new members to understand.
Communication within my team was of the utmost importance to me as VP of Marketing. When I worked under the previous VP, I felt that deadlines were rushed and assigned without an appropriate amount of time to produce quality work. Below is the slideshow I designed for my first marketing meeting as VP, where I introduced the addition of a schedule to be sent out at the beginning of the week with deadlines and expectations.
Outstanding Marketing and Social media Award
At the 2025 Alpha Phi International Leadership Conference, my chapter of Alpha Phi was awarded the Outstanding Marketing and Social Media award under my direction as VP of Marketing.
This honor is awarded to 12 chapters annually after reviewing the social medias of all 175 Alpha Phi chapters nationwide.
